#DonnieDarko appartient à cette catégorie rare de films : tout y est déjà joué avant même que l’intrigue ne commence réellement. La catastrophe n’y est jamais un horizon à atteindre, mais une donnée initiale, un état du monde. Le film de #RichardKelly ne raconte pas la chute d’un ordre, il se déroule dans les ruines d’un ordre déjà effondré. Le film ne fera que déplier et répéter cette idée, comme pris dans une boucle temporelle dont nul ne peut sortir indemne.

I think I've seen this movie 5 times, since it was first on VHS.

I see something different in each viewing and that was true today.

It's endlessly fascinating and a smorgasbord of familiar (now) faces like Seth Rogan.

Well worth another viewing!

Oggi stavo ripensando a #DonnieDarko, la bellissima opera prima di #RichardKelly.

Un regista interessante che dopo #SouthlandTales e soprattutto il costosissimo #TheBox che furono un grosso flop al botteghino, praticamente ha chiuso i ponti con i #produttori #Hollywoodiani, e infatti da allora non ha più diretto nulla.

Grande peccato.

Oggi con i servizi di streaming probabilmente potrebbe, ma penso che nella sua testa abbia capito che il #cinema ormai è come un cunicolo spazio-temporale
