This project collects species observation data for areas removed from the Greenbelt Plan on December 14 2022. Note that the boundary map encompasses lands surrounding parcels removed from the Greenbelt (approximately 1 km on all sides, and any significant adjacent natural heritage features). This was the top priority for the weekend. Absolutely love opportunities to be carefully close to wildlife.   #conservation authorities are experts in biodiversity, habitat, flooding, water, land use +. Bill 23 in Ontario gags conservation authorities and bars municipalities from integrating their expertise in planning. Furthermore, our govt was grossly negligent #UNDRIP stating they would consult #Indigenous peoples re: their lands after the bill passes. #landback  #RepealBill23
