This is pretty disturbing and sounds deeply disingenuous at best from the mayor of Cambridge.

Several councillors in Cambridge are speaking out following Mayor Jann Liggett’s move to interrupt a 17-year-old during their speech at a city Pride event on June 1. Three councilors posted their response on social media over the weekend, saying the experiences and voices of young people and the 2SLGBTQIA+ community matter.

Cambridge Ontario Mayor Jan Liggett doubles down on being a bigoted piece of shit.

Cambridge, Ont., mayor Jan Liggett defends her decision to stop 17-year-old Sophie Mills's speech during a recent Pride event, after Mills referenced a meme posted by a city councillor that some deemed transphobic.
The bike lanes on Bloor St. W. look really good, making the street look nice and inviting to walk around, one wants to visit all the little shops. That's not the case with Eglinton Ave. W., the street feels like a highway.
They're the same in terms on width, and types of storefronts. Eglinton now has a subway under it, like Bloor street.
Eglinton would be so much better with a bike lane.
City of Toronto: we need housing
Federal govt: you definitely need housing
Doug Ford: have you considered filling in 900m of Lake Ontario and less housing instead?
