DimitriosWhat is the Mastodon etiquette regarding boosting parrot RSS accounts’ posts from time to time? I’ve recently gone on a bender following lots of parroted RSS accounts who unfortunately represent original accounts that aren’t on Mastodon, but it’s dawned on me that perhaps the original posters of such content might not appreciate me or anyone else sharing it on another platform. Der Wirrwolf@www.witten.de Die Sache verkompliziert sich. Die Stadt #Witten hat anscheinend im September den alten #rssFeed durch eine ganze Reihe von Tochterfeeds ersetzt. #RSSParrot liest weiter den alten feed (in dem nichts mehr kommt) und kann die neuen nicht verarbeiten. Ich bleibe dran.

El site RSS Parrot hace cuentas en su instancia de Mastodon a partir de direcciones de sites con direcciones RSS.
Hace 2 días que no está actualizando las cuentas que armé en su site y sigo en Mastodon!
¿Alguien sabe qué pasó?

Actually, I think #RSSparrot https://rss-parrot.net/ is more what I was after - a way to follow accounts, stay abreast of news and opinions not yet well-represented on Mastodon (or I haven't found them yet).
For now, not ready to post to Bluesky until I see how the bridge behaves (by comparing feeds of bridged accounts, I guess).
I have to say I don't love the look of bsky on my desktop - it's too twitter-like, in yer face.
