I agree that electric for short-haul flights is plausible in a couple of decades.
Lots of money into SAF just as a figleaf, a bit like CCS.
I can't quite reconcile alternative views of efuels. Julian Allwood and #AbsoluteZero kind of requires zero aviation

(Hydrogen requires complete airframe redesigns for the tank, which is why adoption of #RFNBO liquids seems more plausible to me.)
