I was looking for the English language equivalent to French “médiation scientifique.” Wikipedia shows no other language version. Then starting from “science outreach” I find a translation in Swedish which means “third mission” and in Portuguese which means “extension of the university.” I did not expect such linguistic conundrum for a set of issues and practices which are present the world over!
