The situation with finding reviews now is so bad, some journal management systems have the option to queue potential reviewers, so invitations are sent automatically once someone declines.
(It is normal to send out at least 10 requests to get enough reviews, per around)

When people mention "Springer", they can refer to two very different publishers: Springer Nature or Axel Springer SE. Don't confuse them! One does not care about ethical standards, is involved in shady campaigns to exert influence, and employs questionable business practices. The other, of course, publishes the "Bild" tabloid.

I mean... the statistics don't look amazing, and the sample is biased toward people with a University degree, but it is encouraging to see that expertise and certification still impact how credible information is perceived.
