V islámu nemá žádné místo víra v amulety, talismany, věci nebo pověry (události přinášející údajně štěstí, nebo smůlu) - právě naopak!
Tyto věci jsou z podstaty islámské víry považované za projev nevědomosti a hříšné přidružování Božích vlastností něčemu jinému.
Zbožní muslimové věří, že nic z toho nepřinese člověku užitek ani v tomto, ani na onom světě.

There was a massive burglary last night in the beleaguered Hegenberger corridor here in Oakland. An entire office building was looted.
And who are they blaming? the homeless encampment that's nearby. Seems like infotainment drum beating in support of the homeless camp sweeps avowed by Gavin Newsom.
There's no proof it was anyone in the camp. The entire city is being squeezed to death by capitalism and folks are desperate. There are housed individuals just trying to stay afloat. It could have been anyone. Well, a group of anyones.
Add on top of that the inability of folks to get employment after being incarcerated, most of them for petty victimless crimes, where they learn better ways of making income in less than legal ways, and the big picture adds up to capitalism being the ultimate culprit. Capitalism and our punitive prison system, as well as the school to prison pipeline.
But yeah, blame the unhoused folks that subsist on the same block and call it a day. Assholes.
I can't bear to read the comments. I've made that mistake on YT local news over the past week and it just makes me hate people more than I already do.

Here I decided to try and clean a little because the apartments are doing an inspection some time this week...
Guess what, since I've had a migraine all day now I'm dizzy. The cherry on top is how hyperly aware I am that the more often I clean to keep cleaning easy the more I have to use trash bags which I cannot afford to replace.
Imagine being too scared to clean your own home because it kinda costs money to keep things sanitary.
