We don’t eat steak too often these days due to the price. We do eat a lot of chicken & lamb though.
However, today I did an exploratory dig into the freezer & found 2 #porterhouse steaks.
I’m going to do just a very basic cook for dinner.
Rub the steaks with olive oil & then a sprinkle of salt, pepper & garlic powder on both sides.
I’ll serve it with peas & mashed potatoes.
I think it’ll make a nice change to our diet.
Ever since I picked up a #smoker box for my #grill, I've been experimenting with different wood types and seasonings for my food. Just pulled this feast off the grill.
London broil and two #porterhouse #pork chops with #carrots #tomatoes and #jalapenos.
Can't wait to dig in. I am starving after an intense trail run earlier today.
Thought I'd celebrate the first snowfall of the year. Doesn't get much better than this.
