I found a hidden spot to draw behind a monument. Still, I was spotted and approched. My notes on this drawing:
"Had two visits from locals from Oberhof. They told me stories about Oberhof. But first they wanted to know what I was doing there."
It was quite entertaining. Someone told me where there is a free excibition (about Sports) and a clean public restroom. Always good to know. 😉

A view of the bucolic courtyard of our hotel "Las Marias" in Antigua the first Spanish capital of Guatemala. The city is looking very old southern Spain with it's cobbled streets and low buildings around courtyards, if it weren't for the exotic plants thriving everywhere.
Astonishingly for a European , the closed of street with it's well to do houses well protected against intruders.

Une vue sur la cour bien verdie de notre premier hôtel à Antigua ,la première capitale espagnole du Guatemala . On se pense dans le sud de l'Espagne avec les rues pavées et les maisons à une étage autour de cours intérieures, si ce n 'était pour les plantes exotiques qui se épanouissent partout.
C'est un peu étrange pour un Européen de voir la rue fermée par une grande porte massive contre d'éventuel intrusions.
