Toronto says goodbye to the iconic 'Steve's Music Store' after nearly 50 years of business
Steve's Music Store has been a mainstay on Queen Street for nearly 50 years. The store was a pillar in Toronto's music community, a go-to spot to buy a new guitar or for musicians to gather and celebrate their love for music. CBC Toronto spoke with the store's managers and loyal patrons, as they bid farewell to the iconic shop.

Zwischen den Säulengängen von Mystras entstehen trotz regnerischem Wetter bei meinem Besucht wechselnde Licht- und Schattenspiele. Marmorsäulen tragen Bögen mit fein ornamentierten Kapitellen; die markieren räumlich den Übergang von der profanen zur geheiligten Sphäre.

Der Apollon-Tempel von Bassaewurde im 5. Jhd v. Chr. auf über 1.100 Metern Höhe erbaut und war dem Heilgott Apollon Epikourios gewidmet. Besonders ist seine Ausrichtung nach Norden und seine Kombination verschiedener Baustile - dorisch außen, korinthisch im Inneren. Heute steht das Bauwerk einsam auf dem Hochplateau, weit entfernt von jeder größeren Siedlung. Die Plane filtert das Licht milchig und lässt den Innenraum wie eine Mischung aus Baugerüst und Heiligtum wirken.

Die Ruinen der Ausgrabungsstätte des antiken Olympia erstrecken sich über das Kladeos-Tal, seit 1829 systematisch freigelegt. Ab 776 v. Chr. pilgerten Panhellenen hierher zu Zeus-Kult und Spielen, die bis 393 n. Chr. dauerten. Altäre und Schatzhäuser rahmen den zentralen Tempelbezirk ein. Übrigens wurde während der antiken Olympischen Spiele eine heilige Waffenruhe (Ekecheiria) ausgerufen, um allen Konflikten und Kämpfen Einhalt zu gebieten und den sicheren Zugang der Athleten zu ermöglichen.

英殖政府於 1903 年於 #香港 島北岸多處矗立了維多利亞城界石，用作當時城區範圍的劃定。隨著城市發展，部份界石曾遭遷移或已遺失，過去多年為市民所知的界石，只餘下七條。

於 2021 年尾，有鑽研歷史的民間團體，在按圖索驥之下，在數處深山發現未被人知的界石，為令人鼓舞的發現，當時民間亦牽起了尋覓界石的風氣。四年前的 2021 年 12 月 19 日，自己也跟新認識的友人，在港島跑了大半天，雖然沒有看到那時新發現的界石，但也為早為人知的那數條界石，留下了倩影。圖為位於舊山頂遁近地利根德里交界的一枝界石。
