I keep getting spammy AI generated calls from #Aetna about my medications (which are as needed not daily). The bot always leaves the SAME message calling in from DIFFERENT phone numbers thinking I'm not taking my medications (bad RS!). It requires a callback whether I pick up or not. I can't block because of the random incoming phone numbers, and I don't want to call to tell them to stop.

Aetna doubled my premium for 2026 to $103.00.

I went with a different provider for a $0.00 premium.

Queue maniacal laughing. 🤣

As I once again work through the maze of #Medicare, #PartD, and #Medigap, I repeat that anyone who promotes #MedicareForAll instead of full, comprehensive (#physical, #dental, #vision, #mental, #addiction, etc), free or very low cost #UniversalHealthcare has absolutely no understanding of the problem they believe they're addressing.

Medicare is a complete and utter nightmare which fails to address the underlying issues of cost and coverage that plague the #US for-profit #healthcare system.

Why this didn't happen earlier?

Because the #Pharmaceutical Lobby pulled all the strings possible to avoid it!

I just finished enrolling in "regular" #Medicare and a #PartD #prescription plan.

Everyone touting #MedicareForAll as a cure for #healthcare #insurance problems here in the #US are small thinkers because #Medicare is a mess, incomplete, and a nightmare to navigate and decipher.

Do I need #Medigap? Does it make sense? Did I pick the right Part D plan?

It's literally all "pieces parts", and just as appealing.

#UniversalHealthcare or gtfo.
