Many #unhoused people end up so due to #MentalHealth issues. For others it's #physical #disabilities, or mental health and physical disabilities, as well. Others have both and end up unhoused due to an event of some kind. I'm in that cohort.
People who can manage their disabilities when they have #stability likely degrade quickly because of constantly looking for safety, siding detection, fearing harassment, further loss of resources, or injury, or things I haven't thought of yet.
I can manage my disabilities when I have stability. I've been fearing the consequences of not having that stability.
