I know #rocketry is no longer cool, the billionaires ruined it, but spare an old #nerd making a #parable on #parenting with it:

1. Your kid, born with all, is the 2nd stage of an orbital rocket
2. The time you spend with your kid is designing and building the primary stage of the rocket
3. You as parents are the booster stages connecting to it

The point is getting to orbit. You have the most thrust, but you detach first. Also the stage you built together only gets them to the edge of #space.
