Also habe ich vor dem Untermulchen die zarten Senfblätter geerntet. Mit Olivenöl, Walnüssen, Parmesan, Knoblauch, Zitronensaft, Salz und Pfeffer wurden sie zu einem #Pesto mit pikanter, leicht scharfe Note. Gründüngung für den Boden, Grünwürze für den Teller. So gefällt mir die Gartenarbeit. 2/2

Eigentlich hatte ich #Gelbsenf nur als schnell wachsende Zwischenfrucht ausgesät: als Gründüngung, Bodendecker und Kampfansage ans Unkraut. Dann hatten die Senfpflanzen viele frische und würzige Blätter. Und ich dachte: Moment mal – warum soll eigentlich nur der Boden etwas davon haben? #Pesto 1/2

Hab eben meine letzte Basilikumpflanze ordentlich gekappt und Pesto gemacht. Das war die einzige von drei Stück, die den Winter am kalten Fenster über der Heizung überlebt hat. Mit viel Wasser und etwas Dünger hat die sich jedenfalls wieder bekrabbelt. Ach ja und so kleine Mücken waren auch im Boden. Die sind weg. Da half eine dicke Schicht Sand auf der Erde, da kommen die nicht durch.
Pesto war jedenfalls lecker. Genau eine Portion.
