tjhowseWow. I just upgraded from v0.22.8 of @nodered all the way to v4.1.2, a jump through four major versions over six years, and almost everything worked perfectly. That is some laudable dedication to backwards-compatibility. Great job!

The #GardenLights #Cheerlights box is now screwed to the garden wall and operational :)
So #ESP8266 D1 Mini board in there with a 20Ah battery, running #MicroBlocks script publishing using #MQTT to my broker cymplecy.uk on topic gardenlights. This received by #NodeRED on Pi in my house which uses UDP to update colour of the #Wiz lights and also toots out to cheerlights
JustDudeKlaar met Home Assistant, een “assistant” die je configuratie in 2 updates ongeldig verklaart, niet meer start en je achter laat met een error log die verhuisd is en vol staat met fouten.
Die waren er niet tot voor kort… dus einde, klaar mee.
Nu een simpel Nodered dashboard, heerlijk sereen. Zonder snelle maandelijkse of eerder updates.
Werkt met zigbee, grafana en meer. Mqtt to the rescue.
Wat het daarna wordt? Dit of toch? Nog geen idee
Iemand tips?
