In case you're #NewHere, your fediverse app can only find posts stored by the service hosting your account. Which is all the posts from all the accounts followed by people using that service, including posts they've Boosted.

So if you see a post you think is worth seeing, for any reason, think about Boosting it. So it becomes discoverable on any fediverse service where someone follows your account.

Vor einiger Zeit kam ein Fediverse/Mastodon-Tipp bzgl. Sichtbarkeit, ausgelöst durch Fragen von Usern, woran es liegen könnte, dass niemand auf ihre Posts regiert.
In dem Tipp wurde darauf hingewiesen, dass man die eigenen Einstellungen bzgl Sichtbarkeit überprüfen solle. Denn diese könnten die Sichtbarkeit und damit das Gefundenwerden der eigenen Beiträge behindern.

Es gibt Gründe, warum man die eigene Sichtbarkeit oder Zitierbarkeit einschränken möchte.

Ich habe diesen Reminder verfasst für diejenigen, deren Einstellungen die Einschränkung als Defaultwert beinhalten, ohne dass es denjenigen bewusst ist. So war das nämlich bei mir.
