Contact not showing up in Persons to Call list despite it listed in SMS Messages (my son's mobile I've texted hundreds of times..), so, I go to 'Fix/Manage Contacts' and make sure ALL contacts are copied to both Sim AND Device, I go back to the 'Persons to Call' section... "No Contacts to Display".. 🤦♂️ Apparently it's now 'vanished' them all (update with google is OFF by default so it's not trying to copy a 'blank slate' over the top sort of thing), restart the phone, same "No Contacts to Display" error.. Checked SMS Messages section, they're all still perfectly listed under the right names.. Back to 'Fix/Manage Contacts', repeated the exact same thing I had just done (it says 36 contacts available yet will not display any of them ??), they're now appearing where they're supposed to be, BUT still missing the initial named mobile contact, so I said "f*ck it" and just added it in manually like it already should be listed there, it's now appearing where it should be, for now.. What a f*cking hassle just to get one basic thing working properly.. Tech these days are all designed by utter morons. (Motorola Moto G53 mobile btw).
