At last !
20 years after purchasing the GW LotR #MinesOfMoria box set,
The #CaveTroll is fully painted...
It was the last unfinished miniature from that box.
None of the terrain elements are painted (or even glued).
In october of 2005 I bought the GW LotR #MinesOfMoria box and started a blog about it and my other hobby stuff.
I've been thinking for quite some time that I should do a 20th anniversary post showing all the box content, assembled and painted.
So today I got the terrain pieces off their sprue.
Better late blablabla...

ErosBlog Bacchus has moved!But then again, I still sometimes jerk in startlement when I see a light-colored upper case D surrounded by dark space on a monitor. It's been at least 35 years since I played so much Dungeons Of Moria or Nethack or whichever roguelike that I accidentally trained myself to flinch at the symbol for "you have met an Ancient Dragon in a dark place, prepare to die" -- but that flinch is trained deep into the meat.
