@massivelyop Not exactly "MMO spending" (I don't spend much on MMO, and the prices of this year's #LOTRO expansion aren't out yet  ), but I have postponed a PC upgrade due to the global price spikes of key components for the moment...
One Shots: Release the confusing kraken! - the very best #MMORPG and #MMO-adjacent screenshots of the week, featuring #FFXIV, #GuildWars2, #Avatar, #WorldofWarcraft, and #LOTRO!

This week with 3 we started with Bel Inzûl bounties it was fun! 😀 Then we did Thaurisgar, the Vile Apothecary this was the first time the kin member had been in this instance. 😀 We completed this and I used a Rally Horn to summoned him to The Return to Carn Dûm area so he can get the horse point as he had not been there before. Drats! Forgot there was a Mustering Horn there, nevermind. 🙂 #lotro
@massivelyop I don't do shields very much, except on my warden in #LOTRO. And the warden's shield is actually cool, not just because of its looks (it is designed to be used with a spear, which grants unique shapes), but also because it's quite integrated in the playstyle of the class. Shield-based combinations are defensive skills that boost your blocking or grant you life to help you tank more efficiently...
@massivelyop I'd say that all of the mains I have played on MMO games are "spiritual variants" of my main character on #Lotro (both in the concept and in the looks), but I wouldn't call them "successors" because even though she is rather old for an MMO toon (she could vote and drink legally where I'm from), she is still alive and kicking...

If you happen to still support me on my FibroJedi Patreon page, then I've just published an update on:

1. My "health"
2. Games I have played
3. Self-care app
4. What to do if you want something back for still supporting me.

Thank you,

FJ

@massivelyop #LOTRO's task system? Overengineered?
I would have said the various iterations of the Legendary Items, which were all overengineered, but managed to keep us engaged in it, at least for some time.
Because the main issue with overengineering is the tireness about it that come in faster than on "easy" mechanics...
