Shortly after adopting Max, I thought it would be fun to add another dog.
I missed having a golden & I loved the dream of a Max & Ruby - like the show the kids used to watch.

Before it panned out, new neighbors w/ a Ruby - a black lab/doodle - moved in across the street.

Here's Max intently & quietly watching for Ruby.
Her mom says she does the same thing - but cries & whimpers while looking for Max.

Max's #Christmas #Collar (with a #Large #Bow) arrived today.

If you think he is showing a little #Attitude it's because #Yesterday when we left the #Park, he lost track of me and I hid behind a medium tree (so I wasn't completely hidden!). He had to hunt around to find me and I was snickering a bit as I watched. I know. I know. ❤️

Today he didn't let me out of his sight. 😂

Our #Woodland #Walks run a little longer on the #Weekend. Somewhere in the #Marsh, he must have got into some open #Water. So that meant a trip to the #Bathtub... Max is not a fan.

Just now, I found him #Snuggled on #HisChair in the #Library. It's #Funny to think I ever thought that spot would be #Mine.

After a lovely #Walk in the #Snowy #Woods, Max found a patch of #Mud when we got home & tried to #Prance through the house like he was #Clean as a #Whistle.

This led to our first #SelfServe #Bath at #BubblyPaws, which was WAY better than using the shower.

I especially loved Max's Beyonce pose during the blow-drying.
