I've been at the hospital for an hour, first waiting for a blood draw and now waiting for my regular check-up. Too many people running around without masks, and I can't help but think there's something slightly wrong with them for not taking the simple precaution of wearing a mask. Protects them, protects other people.

I mean, it's a hospital. Sick people come here. Seriously.

As folks have noted recently, hand-washing was slow to catch on too.

So did grocery shopping today and one of the clerks was hacking away. So damn glad for the mask. Walked out to see another mask wearer and I warned her about the clerk. We ended up chatting about masks and the fact that RSV, Flu, Covid, meningitis and the common cold, can make one sick but a mask has far fewer side effects than medicine for one.

I'm sick & very sad because my oldest is home from college for spring break & instead of spending time with them, I've spent half the week sick in bed. 😭

I'm basically a hermit so likely caught it from my other kid, who got sick last week from school, where no one masks & "there's always someone who's sick."

I just wish, at minimum, people would #MaskUp when symptomatic with illness. Being sick doesn't have to be so common. Covid or not (we're neg on Pluslife), being sick is very disruptive.
