A quotation from John Adams

Let us tenderly and kindly cherish, therefore, the means of knowledge. Let us dare to read, think, speak and write.

For The Love of Learning

Instilling a love of learning in our students can pay many long-term dividends

Tech & Learning
@edutooters @jeffmoore @stemcoding @edutooter @brndnpink Does measurement always lead to assessment. One of my points was that it’s hard to assess what students should really be learning. #kindness #grit #resilience #problemsolving #emotionalcontrol #loveoflearning Things like that.

@maxiemoosie I love learning, so all levels of education have given me lots of joy

This joy has been tempered though – by near-constant bullying in primary and secondary school (and even university the first time round), and by difficulty coping with the mundanities of everyday life once I left home

The two PhDs I attempted (but didn’t finish thanks to burnout) are an indication that even with the support of a partner who dealt with many of the mundanities of everyday life for me, I couldn’t thrive at that level of academia
