First electrolyte that I can not only tolerate, but I actually enjoy it. Huge relief as I have #Dysautonomia (thanks to #hEDS) which has lots of #POTS symptoms, plus #LongQTSyndrome heart arrythmia- all of which require higher me to have levels of electrolytes.
So happy this product exists as other electrolytes make me gag due to #SensoryProcessing difficulty with the texture and taste.
Added bonus is it is sugar free.

@actuallyautistic

#LongQTSyndrome (#LQTS) is a pacing condition that can cause an irregular heart beat that, in extreme situations, can cause your heart’s chambers to beat out of order, causing a Cardiac Arrest. Simply put, it can kill you.
@yourautisticlife ooh are you the first other autistic person I have found with #LongQtSyndrome? Are were you merely talking about Long Qt Syndrome but don't have it?

"One in ten people discover that they have long QT syndrome after they suffer a cardiac arrest and die."

Hmm.... okay. I guess death is no longer the impediment it used to be.

It is so embarrassing having to sit down in the store because my blood pressure is too low. I mean, it’s better than having a cardiac arrest due to #LongQTSyndrome but… #betablockers suck.

I’m also dealing with #dehydration caused by a #stomachbug that, because of the aforementioned LQTS, means I can’t take anything for it. So… plenty of bathroom stops and lots of fluids. :(.

Luckily, we’re nearly done here.

I need to find a new strap for my watch, ideally one that fits this medical alert bracelet.

Any ideas?

The absolute #worst thing about having #LongQTSyndrome is that you can't take any over-the-counter medications for things like an upset stomach.

Today, I'm reminded of that while my body decides it hates me. At the same time, dehydration is VERY dangerous if you have LQTS because reduced electrolytes can screw with your heart pacing.

Guess I'm chugging extra water and electrolytes today.

#NotFeelingWell

As someone with #longqtsyndrome, a medical condition which causes irregular heart rhythms, I must admit the first thing I thought about #DamarHamlin’s collapse was that it might be cardiac related.

I don’t know more other than just now finding out that indeed, an AED was used to stabilize him.

It’s maybe a good idea to become familiar with an AED. I carry one with me when I’m traveling away from home.

Save a life.

It’s weird that every night I take these two little pills that literally save my life (although they also make working out less fun because they act like speed limits for my heart).

Thank you, science. I was born one year after this drug was invented…and because of it, I hope to live for many more years. #nadolol #longqtsyndrome #lqts

Oh, and get this, thanks to science we also know that my family appears to have an as yet unconfirmed genetic variant that’s maybe causing our LQTS. Neat!

@stavvers as someone who both loves coffee* and has #longqtsyndrome #lqts, I am already getting heart palpitations reading this. In fact, I’m pretty sure it would kill me. We once had someone ask for an 8-shot coffee.**

*my cardiologist is aware and while he’d rather I don’t have lots of caffeine we have an agreement about one coffee a day, made at home.

**yes, I once too worked at a Starbucks while at college, 20 years ago. It was in the square mile of London.
