I deal in #antiques & #vintage unique treasures while scanning #3D objects using various methods from #lightfields to #volumetric - this one is a fave find, a handpainted menu from a cafe in Orleans circa 1897

#French #artnouveau #poster #art like this intrigues me this is the first original #handpainted sign I've seen from that era. You can see the detail in brush strokes.

I love the magic around #computationalphotography and #lightfields. A 2D video taken from an iPhone moving on a rail becomes a 3D image on a glasses-free display like the Looking Glass Portrait from Looking Glass Factory.

Taking my self portrait with this method feels like I imagine sitting still for a portrait in the 1800's felt like. We're in the infancy of what media will be someday.
