I hadn't sung in front of an audience ever until last Saturday. If young me could’ve seen it they would’ve questioned reality. The Cub Leader part, the singing in front of others, the silly actions, the song choice, the lemon squeezer hat & beak mask…

All parts separately would’ve been enough to make me doubt my eyes.

It’s been a regular theme of my posts that I can’t quite believe my life these days. I think last week’s Cubs Event was the peak.

It’s weird when you’ve got stuff done but haven’t really got anything done.

The thing is the stuff I got done wasn’t really part of my plans, so I feel like I did nothing even though I know that’s not true.

The stuff I didn’t do is rather important though.

Having said all that, I was having trouble focusing on the important stuff and there’s a fair chance I just wouldn’t have really done anything otherwise.

Something is better than nothing.
