This is one of my favourite images I've ever taken - a pivotal moment in how I saw my images, and a moment that marked a moment of progression in my journey in the #Art of #Photography

I took it while balanced on the edge of a cliff, capturing what was a gloomy canyon scene before we were blown away as the sun cut through the overcast skies. Illuminating the mist and the damp foliage below.

These basalt walls used to protect a quarry from the powerful waves that can batter this coastline, nowadays it’s a popular spot for both photographers and geologists.

#WaterWednesday is here and I have a very dramatic shot to share.

I've revived this edit from my archives recently - a scene I captured back in 2023 while exploring the Canadian #Mountains near #Canmore. I had a friend that wanted to checkout this creek and I'm glad I followed his lead.

Anyone that has visited Canmore will surely recognize the iconic Three Sisters Peaks here.

New Photos? YES! New Photos.

I'm finally catching up - This image was taking this past February during an incredible foggy week. I named it after the tree shown on the cover of #EldenRing because well, it reminded me greatly of it. Such an incredible and cool tree to find.

If you want to see others, I just uploaded about 20 other frames to my site last night.

Mount Monolith might be part of the most unique mountain ranges I've visited.

In the high northern Tundra these mountains weren't formed by your usual tectonic plates pushing up on each other, but by the volcanoes that erupted underneath ancient glaciers, freezing them in time as enormous black vertical walls, with column like pillars extending across the ridge lines.

It only took me two years - but, I've finally published my Drakensberg Trip Report Blog, recounting favourite and daily memories from my multi-day #BackPacking trip across the #SouthAfrica #Mountain range.

If you'd like to read about it, and see some of the accompanying images, you can checkout the blog here!

The many dunes of Death Valley. The last light of the day was catching the side of each dune.

For #MountainMonday: Mount Cheam (Lhílheqey) and the Fraser River in the early evening - in Agassiz, British Columbia, Canada.

A favourite image from my #BackPacking trip to #Yukon in 2022.

I had planned the trip for end of August hoping we would be on the trail during the incredible transition from summer to fall colours - we may have arrived a week early, but, on our hike out the colours really started to show creating this gorgeous rainbow like patterns across the slopes. Reds, greens, yellows, purples, and oranges!

Crown of Storm
A crown forged where storm and light briefly converge.

I just returned from a #Tasmania trip. It was full of adventure, wild weather, strong winds, horizontal showers, fog, and leeches.
