I'm not usually into poetry and grand literature, but reading Borchert's works about World War II and its aftermath at school left a lasting impression on me. So whenever I see memorials or #graves from that time, Borchert isn't far from my mind. For #ThickTrunkTuesday, here's a touch of nature in the heart of #Brno, Park Moravské náměsti. I loved the wild flowerbeds underneath the #trees; it was lush and green and untamed, not just pansies planted in painstakingly precise rows.
