Five-ish months of knitting on this shawl, mostly done during breaks and lunches at work. Yarn was a couple clearance cakes from Walmart.
I can finally post this. Made it for a friend's birthday and gave it to her yesterday - she loved it!
I used a hand-dyed yarn in 2 ply (lace) and almost 700 tiny size 6 beads.

Still deciding whether to do the Westknits MKAL - I've bought the pattern & now trying to select, if I do it, what yarn to use.

Had a rummage in my stash and was surprised to find a number of yarns I can use for the Mitred Blanket.
Think I'll sort out then start with the lightest. Probably buy a couple of mini skeins in shades I'm missing.
