Apparently #SoundTransit is attempting to cut stations, such as west #seattle , ballard, #issaquah , and #kirkland , from the new ST3 project due to running out of funding. Unforchies it doesnt look like Microsoft is going to foot the bill this time like with the 2 line.

Sound Transit will celebrate opening a light rail connection across Lake Washington later this month, but behind the excitement, the agency faces a brutal financial future. Sound Transit can't deliver on its ST3 promises to voters by 2046 as planned.
I received a response from King County Parks to my request for more information and to find a suitable detour regarding the upcoming East Lake Sammamish Trail closure from May thru late fall. Unfortunately, it’s not looking good.
For context, this trail closure means that the only way one could bike between Issaquah and Redmond is around the west side of Lake Sammamish or climbing into the city of Sammamish for most of the year
