Pushed an update to Trident đź”± Tracker, my fan built Mariners app. Bug fixes and some improvements to the live activity.
Also working on live push notifications for scoring updates, which should be the next big thing coming soon.
Finally shipped my first #Claude Fable 5 app. It's a fun one!
I was inspired by @mattevanstech's free https://mattevanstech.com/trident app for #Seattle Mariners fans.
But I hate #sports.
So, what can people like me do to look not-so-stupid with sports small talk?!
We can now use "Sportsball Stupid" to navigate conversations with those who live and die by the game(s) as though it was Star Wars or something.

Apple's watchOS 27 cuts off everything older than the Series 10 — Series 9, Ultra 1, and SE 2 all dropped. A watch from 2023 is obsolete.
Meanwhile iOS 27 still runs on the iPhone 11, a phone from 2019.
I get that the new Siri AI needs newer silicon, but "your two-year-old watch is too old, your six-year-old phone is fine" is a tough pitch.
Made a web app called Trident Tracker for keeping up with Mariners games. It started as a thing just for me, then I figured why not make it public. No big roadmap — I'm not really planning new features — but if you ask for something and it's not a heavy lift, I'll probably add it. Mostly it scratches my own itch as a fan.

WWDC 2026 kicks off June 8. Wrote up what I'm hoping for.
Make iOS 27 the boring one. A Snow Leopard-style release focused on bugs, stability, and polish. Keep refining Liquid Glass. Finally deliver the Siri features Apple promised a year ago.
Also a wishlist of five things that should already exist in iOS — Messages archive, smaller icons, redesigned folders, and the icon-teleporting bug that has overstayed its welcome by about a decade.
