Guys, remember, #Mozilla has pivoted from a Software-driven to a Marketing-driven.

#Ads, #AI, #DataCollection, whatever they need to keep the lights on as the Google Search deal seems to cease this year.

I cannot blame them, but yeah, I don't see anyone donating $400M every year, nor pushing Firefox to 50% of browser market share.

Ah yes, #Mozilla, the knight in shining armor, valiantly brandishing its blog post from 2025 to #battle the insidious #Google dragon. 🐉 Naturally, because nothing screams relevance quite like a ten-paragraph essay from a company whose browser is now practically the Internet's equivalent of #Myspace. 🙃🔍

It's called "#OperaAir".

What do you think of it??

I think that Linux Mint Cinnamon needs a new Internet Browser, so I made a FAKE poster ad for one I'd love to see. What do you think?

Okay, been using Vivaldi alongside Firefox for about a week now.

It's faster on startup than Firefox, generally. A quirk of KDE is that it wants me to log into my "wallet" since Vivaldi saves my passwords, so that slows it down ever so slightly.

However, overall, it's been good. No compatibility issues thus far.

Mind you, I don't do a LOT of wild web browsing. So...take that as you will.

So, turned on my computer, loaded up Firefox and Vivaldi concurrently.

Tried loading Mastodon on both browsers concurrently. It loaded up immediately in Vivaldi, it just loaded in Firefox as I was finishing up this post.

For the record, I'm in the KDE Desktop environment in Ubuntu.

I removed the sidebar. It was so irritating to me. But now all the things I'm used to in like every other browser isn't there near the top, it was on that side browser that I removed.

And I want to find how to get my bookmarks near the top again.

Hmm...
