Any thoughts or ideas on publicising the Kowethas Kernow project?

It's essentially designed to be a dispersed Celtic Monastic-style community for people who enjoy traditional forms of church (music, art, architecture, food, liturgy etc) but who are also doubters, dissenters, heretics, agnostics, atheists, and Humanists.

Is it #Michaelmas today?
I grew up in evangelicalism, so never celebrated, but goose was traditional in the UK, right?
I remember liking St Michael when I explored Celtic Christianity, as he is one of the 3 patron saints of Cornwall.
I quite like this Catholic website for exploring food traditions:

Michaelmas Traditions: Prayers, Food, and Flowers

Michaelmas is quickly approaching: September 29th (next Saturday)! It will come as no surprise to you that I love St. Michael’s Day. It was the first feast we celebrated when we started obser…

Carrots for Michaelmas
How do you feel about Pentecost, or the 'birthday of the church' post-deconstruction of belief?
Is there any way to understand the story from a non-theistic, non-supernatural way?

Every day I try to listen to a secular/ non-theist/ humanistic talk, often from secular faith communities.

Today I'm making use of this collection of thought-provoking talks from Non-Theist Quakers in the UK.

A bit delayed, apologies!
Happy 2nd Sunday of (secular) #Advent

The #Anglican calendar of saints wiki tells me that today is a 'Day of Intercession and Thanksgiving for the Missionary Work of the Church'.

To clarify the position of #HumanisticChristianity: we do not support missionary activity or proselytising.

Having said that, we are quite keen to encourage the spread of the use of religious traditions within a rational humanistic framework.

My 'prayer' is that religion will do no more harm.

I also view it very much as an #eXvangelical project, an effort to take the 'teeth' out of toxic, harmful, (and dare I say, colonialist, white supremacist) Christianity.

I use an #Anglican framework, because I find its structures useful, (for example liturgy, the liturgical year, and its emphasis on #tradition.)

It is inevitably a #WorkInProgress, I have no idea if #HumanisticChristianity will catch on, it may not, but for me it is a kind of #therapy, working through it all.

#HumanisticJudaism is a stream of #Judaism which embraces the culture, art, music, literature, feasts, festivals, food etc. of the Jewish people, but without reference to 'God' or the supernatural.

Inspired by my experience of Humanistic Judaism, I decided to take a look back again at the religion of my birth, to see if there was anything good, positive, healthy, worth retaining.

#KowethasKernow and its sister projects, #Mengwyden and
#HumanisticChristianity are all part of that...

Oh, just a funny anecdote.
My #HumanisticChristianity project is inspired by #HumanisticJudaism.

Recently I decided to have a look at my ancestry, to look for a reputed Jewish connection. (My maternal grandfather had claimed to be Jewish)

What we found though, bizarrely, was a very unexpected ArchDeacon and ArchBishop of Canterbury!!!

I don't know whether my ancestors would be pleased or appalled at my #agnostic, #interfaith #multifaith #Humanist perspective and projects!
