So there is this old internet dragon pet game that's still going strong called flightrising.com and a new breed came out the other day! I WAS so lucky with the colors of these babie, we all got two eggs and the gender and colors and eye colors are randomized when you hatch loose eggs like that. It's not perfect at all, that would be three of the same color, but i got stuff that works together with two of the genes I liked best. Much much better luck for me than usual in this! The second one still needs it's third gene, but the one I want for him is difficult to come by so it'll take some time and grinding.

Another fun morning with the turtles.
Almost the end of hatchling season.

About 20 #hatchlings and 15 unhatched eggs were recovered on our patrol.

The hatchlings will be released and the eggs have been taken for incubation for later release.

There are only great hair days for our black redstart #hatchlings! 🐣 💅🏼

By the way, there are five of them! 🤯 One fell out of the nest the day before yesterday, but we put it back in (but not really thinking it would survive because it must have been hours). It's hard to see, but I thought I saw five bodies wiggling in there earlier? I don't want to climb up there too often because the parents are not big fans of us.
