but! the "dead" battery from the A1502 I got to charge again, by soldering on leads from a 12V 1A PSU and letting it charge from the inital 5.7V to 9.5V (see #hardwaregore picture attached)

upon inserting the battery, macbook started charging it!

was kinda worried because the voltage was rising rather quickly. will try to find some 12V 0.5A PSU, I think this would play better?

today's #hardwaregore - a single cell I got off a dead macbook battery is being charged with a $1 li-ion charger. supposedly, the thing will shut off when it gets to 4.2V and the light will turn green

next step is charging a cell that's under 4V in a macbook pro 2006 battery and see how that works.

if it does, contemplating replacing the three cells in it with cells from two different A1502 batteries.

what can possibly go wrong?

A floppy disk that is actually just a whole bunch of SD (or microSD) cards wired together inside a plastic shell to make it identical to an actual floppy disk from the outside, which gets inserted into a FDD that is actually a specially shaped USB (or other protocol, depending on what enables the fastest speeds for the least complexity) port designed to read/write data from/to the floppySD.
