My friend's microphone's USB cable has been slowly deteriorating for years
A floppy disk that is actually just a whole bunch of SD (or microSD) cards wired together inside a plastic shell to make it identical to an actual floppy disk from the outside, which gets inserted into a FDD that is actually a specially shaped USB (or other protocol, depending on what enables the fastest speeds for the least complexity) port designed to read/write data from/to the floppySD.

This is the first 'server' from circa 2015, at first an ESXi host for various tinkering, nowadays in a better looking box running OpenMediaVault and the data backbone of the home infrastructure

This controller was giving me problems immediately during gameplay. It’s a PowerA Xbox Controller from years ago, and after it failed big time on the input test, I had to do it.
It was very liberating to destroy this POS. I spiked it on the tile floor, breaking the left trigger, and then I disassembled it and broke the control board in half.
