MUAHAHAHA! 🤪

A+! 🐧

Migliori NAS (maggio 2026)

Tom's Hardware
2 5-year cycles, I bought a cold spare for my 4-drive raid NAS and never used them. The last cycle I didn't buy extra. So I spent two days with a degraded pool until the shop delivered a new cold spare. Now it is happily repairing and soon in top-grade. Time to replace the other 3 soon? #nas #raid
Gave up on my QNAP NAS’s NFS, kept randomly shorting directory listings so moved homelab shit to SMB 🫤 no clue what it’s deal but it sucks. #homelab #nas

I thought that setting up the server and OS was going to be the hardest part of building a self-hosted #musicserver

Well it was and is hard to get it up and running but TBH I'm finding the process of uploading and tagging even more tedious.

Mainly because of two things. There is very little you can edit or change from #Navidrome itself, meaning you have to rely on something like Picard and do ALL changes before uploading. Secondly it seems to take hours for music to appear in the player after you've dragged it to the #NAS

Souhaitez-moi bonne chance? 😁🐧

Hi All, I've got an DS415+ (yes I know its fairly old) and I've got a TrueNAS Scale server. I'm currently testing backing up from the Synology via HyperBackup and Rsync copy. My first test passed which I'm happy with as permissions are setup correctly. What I did notice with the test copy that...
