Samsung Lanza un «Súper Fold» con Pantalla Cuadrada para Contrarrestar la Amenaza Plegable de Apple

Samsung ha registrado un modelo de smartphone plegable completamente nuevo, conocido internamente con el código H8 (modelo SM-F971U), que no encaja con su línea actual. Este dispositivo, filtrado en la base de datos de la GSMA, sugiere que Samsung está desarrollando un Galaxy Fold de formato diferente, con una pantalla interna más cuadrada (proporción 18:18) – (Fuente Smartprix).

Una filtración en la base de datos de la GSMA (organización global de operadores móviles) ha revelado la existencia de un nuevo dispositivo plegable de Samsung que no corresponde a la esperada serie Galaxy Z Fold 8 o Z Flip 8. El nombre código H8 y el número de modelo SM-F971U son atípicos; la serie Fold utiliza el prefijo «SM-F9» pero emplea la letra «Q» en sus nombres código. Este cambio de nomenclatura indica que el dispositivo es una variante premium que coexistiría con el Galaxy Z Fold 8, posicionándose como un «súper Fold» diseñado específicamente para neutralizar la amenaza competitiva de la llegada de Apple.
