On Tuesday, the New Mexico Military Institute (NMMI) High School golf team hosted the Colt Classic Golf Tournament at the NMMI Golf Course.The golf tournament drew eight schools, including Carlsbad, Artesia and Texico, and featured both a boys and a girls competition. The local schools of NMMI, Roswell, Dexter and Goddard were all in attendance.The host team, NMMI, had only a boys team, and they finished in fifth place with 346 strokes.
