Simon is a loving dad and husband who has ADHD, ASD, PTSD, post-concussion symptoms and burnout. It’s been hell the past two years supporting him and seeing him - still the same person I fell in love with but much of the time behaving entirely differently. I believe getting access to meds will make a huge difference in his recovery, and in his and our quality of life.

Simon desperately wants to be able to return to work, to see his life as making meaningful contributions to society, and while he’s meaningful to me just for being who he is, I want that for him too.

this has been a long time coming. i don't know how long i've wanted to do this for, but it's over a decade. in February of this year i finally reached out to some folks, and i've been having appointments and chats and screenings over the last several weeks, and finally it's happening. i'm so fucking anxious lmao

the entire program is ten weeks, and for the first week i am gonna be radio silent bc i am not allowed my phone (which on its own is gonna be rough!!!), but then after that i'll be around intermittently between groups and therapy and all that stuff. then on the 6th of august, i'll be all done.
