The new heated propagator has arrived so we have been planting seed for our bedding plants. Once they germinate we can move them out to make room for the next batch!

Still obsessed with how the hanging baskets have turned out this year 🤩 A few people have asked what the secret it, but I’m not going to pretend that I completely know what I’m doing 😂 … but I think the key is….

✅ Water retaining granules sprinkled in at the start with the potting mix (I just used whatever was cheapest!)
✅ A handful of slow release fertiliser mixed in
✅ Water every day! 💦
✅ A good old deadhead every other day (definitely with Petunias)✂️ 🌸
✅ A liquid feed every week (I’ve been using Micracle Grow)

Apart from that just winging it and hoping it lasts until the end of summer! 😂🤞🏻🌺🌼🪻🌸
