Die Bedeutung dieser Entdeckungen für die Wissenschaft und die Menschheit wird ebenfalls erläutert, dazu es gibt Ausblicke auf zukünftige Forschungen.

Main challenge was having macro scale (the nebular) and micro scale objects (the particles) in one scene which resulted in a lot of juggling with alpha masks etc. in post ^__^

An hour-long piece on how the adaptation of "The Wizard of Oz" to an #immersive show in the #Sphere is a glorious failure (artistically at least): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgEmsKtdsRs - along the way one learns a lot about immersive experiences vs. classical cinema and where deep traps are lurking. Might also apply in part to modern #fulldome planetarium production.

Hello #PortfolioDay! ✨

I'm a German #creative person, living in #Edinburgh and #Lübeck. I've been sneakily changing to only using #OpenSource tools (#Inkscape #Krita #Scribus #Blender etc.) and so far no one has complained ^__^

Aside from #illustration and #GraphicDesign I've also been doing a lot of #3D / #fulldome work, which is a good mix!

I love #nature and #science (especially #astronomy 🤩), progressive #fantasy, #folktales and everything nerdy. #FightFascism!

Crappy cellphone footage as I'm checking the fulldome transform master of the film that was done by Sky-Skan (now SSIA Technologies). They took the flatscreen (rectangular) of the film and applied a warp to it for fulldome playback. Looking at it on my monitor, it's obviously warped but when it's projected on a curved surface, it should "straighten" itself back out. I hope to test soon in a dome!
