Poland has indicated interest in acquiring Indonesia's partnership stake, and many leading European defence manufacturers are already technology partners in the project.
It's not going to be a 6th gen 'wunderwaffe in our time', but with some planning workshops across Europe could be churning out components for newer blocks ("v2.0" and up) within just a few years. European electronics and weapons systems manufacturing could benefit from some economies-of-scale here too.
Frankly, after any half-decent 5th gen platform all 6th gen development should go into more compact unmanned and autonomous platforms anyway.
#Sweden, with plenty of relevant engine, electronics and aeronautics expertise, is also due to start planning the follow-up to the Gripen platform.
Perhaps the European Union ought to pick up the baton from #Poland and negotiate a full partnership with SK to create a new 'Free World' platform. Others, like #Canada now struggling with their F-35 decision, might also like to enter the chat.
The USA may manage to wrestle itself off MAGA's deathly embrace in another few years, but for now it feels far safer to just try and license manufacturing rights to whatever useful tech they happen to be willing to offer for sale (while hopefully not selling to hostile actors too...).

Per molti versi la complessità delle guerre attuali può essere descritta come una struttura a cerchi concentrici in cui ogni cerchio è contenuto in un cerchio maggiore con il quale si interseca. Altri commentatori hanno utilizzato la metafora seduttiva della matrioska, la bambola russa che contiene al suo interno svariate altre bambole di dimensioni sempre minori.
