Baseload was acceptable a century ago. It served its purpose and was found to have many faults, especially in the context of the generating fuel. Rather than evolving our thinking, many continue to be invested in the old order. Using #batteries for Buffering and #FrequencyStabilization just compounds the problem. #ProTip: The #UKGrid should be draining all its #BESS at Night and re-charging them during the day using excess #WindEnergy & #SolarEnergy being generated, but not consumed. This way they could shut down ALL #FossilFuel generation. Simply put; Using #batteries for #FrequencyStabilization is a waste of resources. That is all.
