@BM_Visser If the batteries operate under the same market rules like the rest of power producers do, no decrease. Since they can ramp up/down super fast, it could actually become worse (increase).

Of course one could do the sensible thing and allow the network operators a few GWs of batteries to smooth things out - outside the market rules. But that would be evil socialism, so probably not gonna happen.
