youen@Legit_Spaghetti since the game is #FreeSoftware, I can't, and don't want to, force anyone to pay for it. Which doesn't mean I have to work for free either, so my objective is to distribute it as pay-what-you-want. Could be on itch.io, or associated to a donation platform, or both.
Assuming a 2-year project without hiring anyone, I'd need to "sell" for β¬50k, which might translate to ~10k paying players, so a total of ~50k players maybe?
I have no idea if that's hard to reach π
LucKey ProductionsTux! now shows a preview of the selected level before starting a match, and has gained a command-line flag to run the game in a mode that makes taking consistent screenshots a breeze.
The background of the main menu also gained some detail in the form of rocks, hills and grass blades.
Furthermore, keyboard and gamepad navigation of the UI has been significantly improved.
