I got up this morning, looked at my list of #FourDayWorkWeek jobs to do outside …
And within 10 minutes the drizzle had started. On and off all day. I managed to swear at some jobs inside.
This Gen Xer supports this idea fully, especially if I can do all four days remotely: “[Gen Z] is the perfect generation to champion a shorter workweek. Not only does the reduced schedule offer more leisure time, which this generation prizes over compensation, but it has also been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, burnout, and depression.”

Now that I’m winding down at the end of #FourDayWorkWeek i look out in the backyard and see the things I meant to do today but didn’t do because I didn’t write them on my list.
Dead fall will just have to amuse itself until the next time I get the mulcher out in 2026.
