Fridays off: NSW council wants to move to a four-day working week

Millions of Australians are about to enjoy two consecutive four-day working weeks due to the Easter long weekend. One council in regional NSW wants to make that a permanent set up.

@Heliograph these journos are lazy slackers or geographically challenged. South yes, but southwest? Not really. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Murrumbidgee_Council_LGA_NSW.png

@Heliograph maybe being a bit hostile here, it is in the sw of the state, just barely. But they also describe the ACT and Wagga as the southwest. Sydney centric geography.

@CaraBruar @Heliograph Anything "not Sydney" is a mystery. Journos making vague "over there" waves - not good enough.

I went to Infants school in Griffith, primary school in Dubbo, high school in Wagga, the Riverina, the Central West, and the South West Slopes and Plains are not the same!
