It is probably going to cost me some #followers while I don't even have many..

From Barilla (now they’ve changed position) to Chick-fil-A, HBO and now the Olympics, I’ve seen and heard way too many people saying that they are going to boycott them. But honestly, have you and/or are you really going to stop subscribing to HBO or watching the Olympics?

I have no solutions or advice for what's happening. But I feel the pressure and the tension growing as you do..

Currently at a palindromic level of #followers at 6446 here on #Bluesky, which, if memory serves, is higher than I ever achieved on Twitter, and entirely without any of the corporate affiliations that I had back in those days.

To those who’ve set up #followRequests: Don’t be surprised if you’re currently receiving lots of requests from accounts that appear empty or look familiar.

There’s a major wave of users #migrating, particularly away from mstdn.ca (hashtag). The admin 🧵 : https://mastodon.online/@[email protected]/116278549283984096
