Hey everyone! This is the #MusicFediGroups and I'm the group owner who approves new members. Weeks ago, I created a space for #music lovers to drop a link to their favorite songs or some music they made, and the best part is I specifically created this group to represent anyone who is open to all music genres, from metal to jazz to pop music.

I want to be transparent and publish a list of rules. Here are the rules:

1. No gatekeeping/elitism of music based on music style, genre, subgenre, era, popularity, etc. This is the most important rule, and a no-tolerance one. Here we let people enjoy things as long as they are not harmful and do not discriminate against others.

2. Hate speech, discrimination of any kind, slurs, inciting violence, and the like are strictly prohibited. This includes music that promotes that kind of rhetoric.

3. Anything with adult NSFW content is strictly prohibited (this is also a main #FediGroups rule by extension). Please do not tag adult NSFW music/content with any #FediGroup.

4. No impersonation of any real people or users here.

5. Please do not use the Music FediGroups to advertise music sold commercially as part of a marketing thing. Promoting your music is fine in moderation, but it would also be ideal to talk about music in your own genuine way as well. Spam is also prohibited.

6. We do not accept AI/NFT music, or music where AI is even partially used during its making/production.
