i don't care who uses it or not and it's not because of my general aversion to profanity (which is a whole another story) but 🇷🇴 profanity in particular for some reason gives me a specifically strange and weird feeling hearing or seeing it. not purely and simply a typical offended feeling (though it is offensive), but a discomforting feeling.

it doesn't necessarily totally make me feel uncomfortable as I (more infrequently than others) use it too, but it sounds kind of off-putting to my ears.

Cannabis is heavily restricted in 🇷🇴 and THC-containing products are illegal but I once saw CBD gummies being sold in some health store I only went to once, and I distinctly remember that a specific package/brand claimed that it may carry traces of THC due to using natural hemp or whatever, so I don't believe that the law is that consistently enforced as the 🇷🇴 gov wants you to think it is.

Or maybe that product was a rare limited exception...

"I can’t tell you when this full-scale invasion will end.

But I can tell you, having witnessed 47 months of it, that #Ukraine stands. Its government still stands. And, most importantly, its people still stand"

Good morning readers; #Kyiv remains in #Ukrainian hands.

Steven Moore and I agree on at least one thing: we want Ukraine to win.

But what divides us is that Steven thinks Trump is critical to Ukraine winning, while I think we need to abandon the illusion he will help Ukraine. https://www.counteroffensive.news/p/debate-is-trump-a-viable-mediator

DEBATE: Is Trump a viable mediator for peace?

Two supporters of Ukraine debate whether the Trump administration can pull off a peace deal.

(If you haven't noticed I've been doing mostly the talking about my musical experiences and preferences, as I've been wanting and preferring to do that for a while now. also: this post will have a mix of 🇷🇴 and 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 language)

(i like some songs tho)

(one thing I do notice, oddly, is that the mainstream radio stations, especially the ones that play mostly English language pop music, barely play any manele at all despite it being relatively popular in 🇷🇴)

And also. (it's actually why i almost ended up becoming one of those who exclusively listen to english language western music, till i realized i enjoy some songs in other languages too)
